Pelham

For this turn of the century house, refreshing a fading palette and removing a few walls went a long way towards updating a lackluster flow. New built in library shelving, punched up with an energetic wallpaper opened up the family room, making it the new center of the home. We stripped down old granite oak paneling and wood fireplace mantels, and refreshed them with a new coat of wax and fresh marble surrounds to create contrast. An old kitchen received a new backsplash and counters while upstairs we tore out some under used closets to find space for a charming, compact main bathroom. A dreamy palette of blues and greys revived a secondary bathroom. Color, pattern, and texture enhanced the many whimsical design decisions throughout the home.
