Sagg Road

We reconfigured this 1980s saltbox by adding a second story addition that creates a volume cantilevered over a new entrance to the front door. A new extension at the dining room floods the kitchen with natural light and frames the backyard vista through a dramatic double height window. Silvery mahogany planks at the rear deck step down seamlessly into a slate gray brick patio, creating ample room for outdoor living. Repainting the house charcoal grey transformed a dated façade and tied the various new and old parts of the home together into a cohesive series of volumes.
